This weekend I was one of the millions who flocked to the movies not only because Friday was a washout but because I have a soft spot for "The Fast and the Furious' franchise. Great cars and great action what more could a car girl want.
I am always excited to see what classics will be included in each installment and was not disappointed with parade of muscle "Fast & Furious 6" rolled out. My favorite was the 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona. Truly a stunner and thank goodness they did not even pretend to wreck it when it went head to head with the 1971 Jensen Interceptor.
Another cool car you don't see every day was the 1970 Ford Escort RS2000. And this is not the 1992 hatchback version that I drove in high school. This was a cool ride that never made it to the US but was a big rally car in Great Britain.

While I really enjoyed this latest 'Fast & Furious' for the requisite car races, explosions, action and stunts the true stars of the film for me were the cars! Edmunds.com has all of them for your viewing pleasure.
